The under hook escape is a go to technique for MMA fighters, but often executed with errors. Without mastering all the details, you can end up stuck on your back, or worse, get caught with a guillotine.
There are a few key details to understand. First, you must shift their weight to your hips before attempting to hip thrust. Second, when you start working to your feet, quickly get your head either under their chin or dig the crown of your head into their temple. This protects you from getting head locked. Third, make sure you have an under hook, and not a waist hold.

I live by this principle, and I need your help! I wish to be the best instructor I can be, but I need feedback from you to know if I am doing a good job.
