Clark Gracie is probably the most infamous Omoplata technician on the planet, and for good reason. He has some very slick variations and finishing tricks that have amazed everyone.

But I have some tricks up my sleeve too! After all, the Omoplata is just a Kimura with the legs. 🙂

One of the big problems people have with the Omoplata is that they fail to dominate their opponent’s shoulder. This failure allows their opponent to stack them – making the finish very difficult.

I will show you some tricks you can use to spread out your opponent with the Omoplata that will make it much easier to finish him. These are so simple, you will wonder why you haven’t been using them!
