Back Side Control is great, but you can make it even better by trapping his near arm. This then puts you in a top crucifix, allowing to really punish this person with strikes. But, we can also catch a sneaky arm bar if he gets lost defending strikes. This is not the highest percentage move out there, but it works well enough, and it will setup other attacks I will cover later.

I live by this principle, and I need your help! I wish to be the best instructor I can be, but I need feedback from you to know if I am doing a good job.
