For the really stubborn defender, even the high position can be hard to finish with our basic finishes. So we have a few more options.
One, is to go even higher with the tree top. Simply put, we are going to bring his leg all the way up on top of our shoulder. Some people may fall right then if their balance and flexibility won’t allow them to remain standing. If not, we can then look to score a back trip from here.
Second, we can move closer to them and score a double under hook: one on the shoulder and one on the leg. This puts you in a very strong finishing position where once again a simple back trip will score the fall.

To become the best, we must continuously test ourselves. We measure our performance, evaluate our faults, accept criticism and then work on improving ourselves before starting all over again.
I live by this principle, and I need your help! I wish to be the best instructor I can be, but I need feedback from you to know if I am doing a good job.
