Alvin was asking about a Guillotine attack Gordon Ryan used against Keenan Cornelius in their ADCC 2017 87.9kg finals match, so we worked through it together.
Initially, I mistook the side Gordon tripped on, as I tripped to the trapped arm side. While this still works as a trip, it is much better to trip towards the head. Reason being, you will have more choke pressure as you are folding his head into the choke.
Regarding the finish, in my case, I’m able to just turn sideways to get on top. However, depending on the scramble, you may need to backward roll, like Gordon did to Keenan, to get the mounted guillotine position.

To become the best, we must continuously test ourselves. We measure our performance, evaluate our faults, accept criticism and then work on improving ourselves before starting all over again.
I live by this principle, and I need your help! I wish to be the best instructor I can be, but I need feedback from you to know if I am doing a good job.
